What to expect in your cooking class: Our classes are the ultimate guided discovery roadmap to help you discover your inner culinarian. Our guided discovery method allows you to actively participate in discovering knowledge in the kitchen. Your Chef instructor will verbally guide you through every step - starting from prepping ingredients, cooking steps until your dishes are complete and plated. Your Chef instructor will not be cooking alongside you, rather your Chef is 100% focused on you, sharing instructions, tips and tricks personalized just for you. YOUR CLASS MENU: Fresh Pasta and Bolognese INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED: 2 cups 00 or all-purpose flour Gluten Free Substitute: 1:1 gluten free all purpose or baking flour, we recommend Bob’s Red Mill Gluten-Free Baking Flour 2 large eggs 3 egg yolks, plus more as needed Semolina flour, for dusting If you prefer an easier and quicker method, replace homemade pasta with store-bought fresh pasta or box pasta. We recommend tagliatelle pasta. 1 pound (450g) ground veal or a mix of pork and veal 4 ounces pancetta, finely chopped 2 tablespoons butter 1 medium onion, finely chopped 2 carrots, finely chopped 2 celery stalks, finely chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 cup (240ml) beef or vegetable stock 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg Salt and pepper to taste Grated Parmesan Reggiano cheese, aged 24+ months EQUIPMENT YOU'LL NEED: apron, optional but recommended sharp knife + cutting board measuring cups + spoons large mixing bowl fork plastic wrap clean dish towels pasta rolling machine rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper large deep skillet or saucepan wooden spoon or spatula saucepan measuring cups and spoons large pot colander serving platter or plates grater
