YOUR CLASS MENU: Pork Chops with Apple and Bacon Garlic Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts Ingredients you'll need: 4 slices of thick-cut bacon 2 tablespoons olive oil 4 bone-in pork chops, approximately 1 inch thick ¼ cup diced red onion 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 medium apple, thinly sliced ½ cup chicken broth ¼ cup apple juice ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard ¾ teaspoon ground sage ½ teaspoon dried rosemary salt and pepper, to taste 3 tablespoons cold butter 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese Salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (optional, for a zesty twist) lemon wedges for garnishing Equipment you'll need: frying pan or skillet (large enough to accommodate the pork chops) tongs (for flipping and handling pork chops) paper towels (for draining bacon) cutting board knife digital meat thermometer spoon or spatula (for stirring) measuring cups and spoons foil (for covering cooked pork chops) baking sheet parchment paper (for lining the baking sheet) large mixing bowl tongs or a spatula (for tossing brussels sprouts) grater (for parmesan cheese) measuring spoons and cups lemon juicer (if using fresh lemon juice) serving dish
